How to Enable Location Services

The following features of QuakeFeed require that Location Services is enabled in iOS in order to function:

• Nearby Alerts
• Displaying the distance from your location to an earthquake
• Displaying the distance from your location to a wildfire
• Sorting the earthquake list by distance from your location
• Sorting the wildfires list by distance from your location
• Centering the map on your current location
• Displaying the blue dot on the map

Use the iOS Settings app to enable Location Services for QuakeFeed:

• Open the iOS Settings app
• Tap on Privacy (you will have to scroll down to find it)
• Tap on Location Services
• Make sure that Location Services is turned on
• Tap on QuakeFeed in the list of apps
• Set to While Using the App or Always.
• Turn on Precise Location
